With the once unknown profession affirmed months ago, majority of my attention was gradually transferred to this OBGY specialized hospital. Funded by the China Welfare Institute, the hospital itself has long been rumored as “an ideal treasury”----attractive enough to lull individuals with curiosity and desire of gold and fame.

Certainly the fact, as it was revealed later, plays a bit contradictory to the legend, for the place seems nothing beyond a gigantic breeding zone for human beings, and somehow developed in gynecology. However, it is such a nature that determines the reality where clinical skills would be magnified into an infinite level, even if in the sake of scientific researches.

Luck is granted that a max in experience extends vastly along my staying there as a resident-to-be. And on the other hand, the professor and some tutors there also guarantee the training on academic programs. The professor, together with a team of staff (particularly the secretary academica), impressed me not only in their absolute creativity tracing the most recent progress in contraception & induced abortion, but also something brand new for my character. Besideds, all the postgraduate there are granted international opportunity, either in the form of weekly lectures presented by overseas specialists or by means of sending the exact elite abroad for certain research programs. Sounds amazing, right?

Tutors in assistance were assigned the first time I came to see the professor. The five of them were said to be incredible and enlightened to some degree when evaluated in their respect professions (One of them, however, was transferred to another hospital out of personel reasons, leaving the task shifted onto the head of  gyn dept.). 

Accomodation did not seem disappointed, and the months ahead ensured more comfort when that building is renewed inside in the end of 2006. Currently I share my room with a visiting doctor from Zhejiang, which at least shall alleviate the borement supposed to be hunting sometime.
